Disha Patani has only Justin Bieber on mind (and shirt)

Disha Patani has launched a Justin Bieber line of outfits for a brand. The event took place yesterday, where she even grooved to the tunes of the Singer’s hit song, Sorry. But while we gushed about just how hot her dance was at the event, it’s now time to talk about this pic that she shared! So, as we stated earlier, the diva launched Only’s Bieber collection. Considering how millennials can relate to the Canadian pop singer, the collection also reflects the same. In fact, to be quite honest, they’ve chosen the right person to commemorate this line of outings as Disha is the befitting image of youth. Plus, add the fact that she has a humongous fanbase (she’s only two movies old) and you have the right ambassador! On the photoshoot for the brand, the diva has sported a killer casual look with a Bieber crop top and denims, baring her midriff. Damn, she’ll definitely make you sweat.

Baahubali 2: Sathyaraj says sorry for Cauvery row remarks, requests for film’s release

Baahubali 2: Sathyaraj says sorry for Cauvery row remarks, requests for film’s release....

It seems like director SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion will release in Karnataka without any trouble after all. After pro-Kannada groups refused to settle for anything less than an apology, Actor Sathyaraj has issued a statement regretting his controversial remarks that he made almost a decade ago. “I have got to know that what I had spoken during the Cauvery water crisis has created a lot of tension among the people of Karnataka. I am not against Kannadigas or Karnataka. The biggest example for this is that for the last 30 years my assistant has been Shekar who is a Kannadiga. I would like to apologise for the statement that I had made nine years back and would like to say that I am a small worker in Baahubali film and my comment should not affect the film. I appeal to Tamils to understand,” he said in a statement, requesting the agitating groups to allow the screening of the film across the state on April 28.

Bengaluru have closed gates for Baahubali Release on April 28...

After the Cauvery water sharing issue, pro-Kannada organisations in Bengaluru have now set their eyes on the forthcoming release of Bahubali 2.

Protesting against the release of Bahubali 2 in the state, several Kannada organisations led by former MLA Vatal Nagaraj have called for a day-long bandh on April 28.The anger of Kannada organisations is against Sathyaraj (in pic) who is enacting the role of Kattappa in the movie.

Addressing media persons, Vatal Nagaraj said, “Our dissent is not against the movie Bahubali but against Sathyaraj who had made derogatory comments on Kannadigas and Karnataka leaders. We want him to apologise to the people of Karnataka and only then will we allow the screening.“

However, Bahubali 2 director SS Rajamouli has clarified that Sathyaraj had made those comments nine years ago and till now, around 30 films starring Sathyaraj have been released in the state. “Linking his old remarks that were made several years ago with the current scenario and posing an obstacle to the release of movie is not in the interest of the industry,“ Rajamouli said.

On the day of the protest, Kannada organisations will take out a protest march from Town Hall to Freedom Park.

“The entire city will be shut from dawn to dusk expressing solidarity with the cause,“ Nagaraj said.

Fate of the Furious made Rs 650 crore

Fate of the Furious made Rs 650 crore in two days and it’s still less than expected..

While it has raked in more money than a lot of film released this year, Vin Diesel’s Fate of the Furious still could not manage to make the amount that was expected of it. Is the audience missing Paul Walker?

The Fate of the Furious is roaring to a record-setting global debut over the weekend.

Final numbers have yet to be released, but based on earlier estimates, the action-thriller is poised to set a new worldwide high-water mark. It is expected to pass the previous record of $529 million set by Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

If that happens, a large part of the credit will to China, where The Fate of the Furious has already racked up a massive $135 million in its first two days of release. It is worth noting that Chinese theaters only give studios about 25% of ticket sales, roughly half of what they receive in most major territories.

Shah Rukh Khan on Akshay Kumar

Shah Rukh Khan on Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan making a film together: I wanted to make a film with Akshay

Shah Rukh Khan shares his biggest dream which is to make a film on Mahabharat that has Baahubali's production value but the Actor says he can't afford it.

When Salman Khan announced his next production venture in collaboration with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions with Akshay Kumar as a hero, it made every one of us wonder what must have evoked the thought. But Shah Rukh Khan says this should have been done way before but he is glad the step has been taken. In an interview with DNA, the actor said he also envisioned such a project, “It should have been done a long time back. But it’s very good that Karan and Salman are making a film with Akshay. I wanted to do that. But the story and all didn’t work out. I’m sure he is really open to it. I think whenever there is an opportunity, as Producers, we should make this happen.”
He added that we should not look at the actor and director as the individuals that they are but as a producer. “Firstly, we should get this correct. They should not be taken as individuals, as Karan or Salman. It’s Dharma and SKF. They are different identities, they are film producers. It’s about the company, not about individuals. So, two companies have come together to make a film with a big movie star.”
